As allied healthcare professionals, Osteopaths undergo a long period of training, studying for a 4-5 years undergraduate degree that is similar to a medical degree but with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine along with over 1,000 clinical hours of training and specialise in the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients with acute and chronic conditions across the life span.

Osteopathy Interventions

Interventions may include manual therapy, acupuncture, injection therapy, shockwave therapy, therapeutic exercise, advice on dietary modifications and workplace ergonomic assessments, to maximise the function and potential of their patients.

The range of interventions used depend on the condition and the requirements of each individual patient. We work with people who have physical problems caused by injury, illness, disability or aging and also promote regular musculoskeletal check-ups as part of our prevention strategy.

At Goodall Healthcare Group, we are dedicated to providing high quality Osteopathy services to help you achieve a freedom from a life of pain and support you towards a healthier life. Our team of osteopaths is here to guide you on your journey to optimal well-being.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the interconnectedness of your body’s structure and function. Our skilled osteopaths believe that your body has a remarkable ability to heal itself when given the right conditions. By gently manipulating and massaging your muscles, joints, and tissues, we aim to restore balance and promote self-healing. An Osteopath’s patient groups are manifold, they treat all ages and occupations.

Osteopaths are trained across 4 to 5 years learning content surrounding anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology, with a special focus on biomechanics. This also involves over 1,000 hours of training experience within the programme.
